Delete your WishMe account and data

WishMe lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app. No request or waiting period is required.
Delete your account in the app
- Open WishMe on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice when prompted. Your account and data are removed immediately.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all of your WishMe data, including:
- Your profile, name and birthday
- Your friends, groups, events and their details
- Your saved gift ideas and reminders
- All app preferences and settings
WishMe stores this information on your device. Gift ideas and card messages are generated on demand and are not tied to a stored account on our servers, so once you delete in the app, no personal data about you remains with us. This action cannot be undone.
What is not deleted automatically
- Subscriptions: deleting your account or the app does not cancel WishMe Pro. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (how to cancel). Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase records as required for billing and tax purposes.
- Device backups: copies in your own iCloud or Google device backups are controlled by your device settings.
- Server logs: short-lived technical logs (no gift content) are deleted automatically, generally within 30 days.
Can't access the app anymore? Email support@wishme.ai from any address and we'll confirm deletion of anything we hold (for example, support emails) within a few days.
