Is the WishMe Christmas planner free?
Yes. The app is free to download, with unlimited people and birthday reminders. The free plan includes 3 events (such as your Christmas list), AI gift ideas for 2 people a month (3 ideas each) and 3 AI-written messages a month. WishMe Pro unlocks unlimited ideas, messages and events plus photo-based ideas: $29.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, $4.99 a month or $49.99 once (US prices; other countries see local prices).
How do I start a Christmas list in WishMe?
Tap the Christmas card on the home screen, or add an event and choose the Christmas template. Pick the people it's for from your list, or import them with their birthdays from your contacts. The event can repeat every year, so next December your list is already there.
Can I track which gifts I've already bought?
Yes. Every gift idea can be saved as planned, then marked as bought and finally given. The Christmas list shows how many gifts are sorted, and given gifts are remembered so WishMe doesn't suggest the same thing again.
Can I share my list with family or run a Secret Santa draw?
Not yet. Your list stays on your phone and isn't shared, and WishMe doesn't run Secret Santa name draws. For gift ideas, see our Secret Santa guide.
Does it work for Hanukkah, Diwali or other holidays?
Yes. An event can be any occasion: Hanukkah, Diwali, Eid, a family birthday party or an office gift exchange. Name it, set the date, add the people and plan a gift for each of them.
Do I need an account? Where is my list stored?
No account is needed. Your people, dates, lists and saved ideas are stored on your phone. When you ask for gift ideas, only the details needed for that request are sent to our AI service, and they aren't stored. Your address book is never uploaded.
